Abstract

Understanding cometary roughness is crucial to accurately modelling particle behaviour in a fluid. A parameter is derived from the MIDAS catalogue data and applied to the dataset. We observe roughness and previously-derived shape descriptors appear to not be strongly related. MIDAS particles are extremely homogeneous.
