<text>This paper seeks to examine introspective perceptions of intersectionality among queer women of colour; we analysed internalised behaviours and ideas of race, sexuality, and gender, and how these identities interacted with each other, as separate entities and also as one cohesive intersectional identity. The key themes found and examined were: othering and lack of belonging, lack of acceptance, hiding sexuality, familial duty and honour, religion, and then trans inclusivity has also been explored. The core theme of othering was unanimously present among participants, while the other themes were present in multiple pieces of written and spoken discourse. We also analysed the presence of race as a dominant social factor in self determination and realisation. </text>

<text>The project makes an argument that the conflict between Dumitrescu’s and Van Der Akker’s interpretations of metamodernism is only apparent. Instead, I will argue that oscillations or affective captures can occur only in an integrated, continuous milieu, grounded in differences. Deleuze's philosophy of immanence would serve as an important conceptual bridge in reconciling the two frameworks. Hence, metastable positions and narratives would be understood through a process of myth-making. This myth, rather than being fictional, refers to the expression of virtual or minoritarian intensities at the edge of a stratum. They are organised into ‘counter assemblages’ through a process which I called ‘ontostition’, in which the counter assemblages create an immanent positive feedback loop. In this loop, the greater the organisation of an assemblage, the greater the ability to affect and deterritorialise the dominant stratum, releasing the dominant latent tensions and providing the condition for reconstructions. Provide metamodernism with the conceptual framework to understand oscillations in an immanent way, increasing its applications and consistency.</text>

<text>Lamb waves are used in non-destructive testing of materials, often to identify and characterise defects. Electromagnetic acoustic transducers (EMATs) have the advantage over traditional piezoelectric transducers that they do not require couplant and can be used at higher temperatures, however using unphased comb EMAT arrays only allows the generation of one set of Lamb wave modes per array geometry. Using phased comb EMAT arrays on a plate allows generation of a variety of single lamb wave modes via an adjustable adjacent-EMAT time delay. A time-delay dependent excitation spectrum for a general EMAT phased comb array was programmed and verified experimentally for a 4 EMAT phased comb array used to generate Lamb wave modes on an ~8.109mm isotropic aluminium plate.</text>
