Abstract

This study applies 2D-CSA solid-state NMR to S. pombe cells to investigate cell wall components. Using high-resolution NMR and CSA analysis, distinct carbon sites in glucans were identified and peaks were assigned. The approach demonstrates the potential of 2D-CSA for probing structural details in complex biological systems.
