Abstract
This research project aimed to examine the political economy of the role of Female Filipinos working in Social Care in the North-East of England. In doing so, the project aimed to record the experiences and
perspectives of Female Filipino Social Care Workers to gain a better understanding and insight into how they experience the Social Care sector. As a result, this project examines the existing literature around
social care in England and conducted an open-ended interview with a female Filipino Social Care Worker asking questions around their experience of working in Social Care and how they came to work in the
sector.
