In this project, we extend the one-period binomial model into a two-period model and explore a novel disaster model where a potential financial crisis may occur - while illustrating that the result still holds in these expanded scenarios. Our analysis broadens the applicability of the original insights and provides a robust foundation for understanding optimal decision-making strategies in a wider range of financial contexts.
